I am an experienced European Trademark and Design Attorney and part of our Brand Management team in The Netherlands. In my role I focus on the protection and management of the Intellectual Property rights portfolios, including trademarks and designs

I have over 8 years of experience with trademark and design registration proceedings as well as litigation in different jurisdictions. Within the Bird & Bird Brand Management team I assist our diverse national, international, and multinational clients advising on the availability, registration, enforcement, and maintenance of their Intellectual Property rights. I also support our clients in setting up a global IP strategy for the registration and enforcement of their intellectual property rights.

I have represented clients from different industries before the Benelux and European Intellectual Property Office both for trademark and design registration proceedings as well as refusals, oppositions, appeals and cancellations.

Together with our Brand Management Team we identify IP solutions for our clients and help them implement the most efficient ones. We stay close to our clients, ensuring fast and direct communication. We are curious and always evolving, making sure to keep our clients updated with the latest developments in the law and jurisprudence in the field of trademark law and intellectual property.
