Yuki Ochi

I am an associate in our Tokyo office. I am qualified in Japan and I have been working on various matters including commercial transaction, data protection, corporate and media and entertainment.

I am keen to focus on commercial and corporate matters, particularly in the media and entertainment sectors.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked at a Japanese law firm where I collaborated with overseas lawyers on various cross-border matters. I also provided a wide range of legal advice to domestic and international clients, including on day-to-day legal issues and M&A transactions. I have provided advice on whistleblowing and compliance matters to prominent Japanese companies.

In addition, I am actively participating in the activities of Japanese bar associations, where I am trying to deepen my expertis,e including international transactions, legal issues related to cross-border transactions, legal issues relating to eSports, anti-trust and insolvency.
