Stage of Implementation

The Hungarian Parliament has passed and, on 19 December 2022, published ‘Act LXI of 2022 on the amendment of certain laws for the purposes of active consumer protection’. The Act will implement the CRD as well as other EU laws in Hungary. The provisions of the Act will enter into force in several phases (but most on 25 June 2023).
