Regional. Lithuania will be part of the Nordic-Baltic regional division of the UPC with Sweden, Estonia and Latvia (as established on 4 March 2014, read more on this on the related link below). The ratification of a bill on the establishment of a Nordic-Baltic regional division of the UPC entered into force on 1 July 2017.

The amendments of the Law on Patents implementing UP/UPC legislation entered into force on 1 July 2017.
To enforce UPC decisions they have to be translated to the Lithuanian language.
