As a partner in our international Tech & Comms sector group in Denmark, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise of the legal implications of technology and data-driven innovation. I provide legal advice to IT companies on a wide range of technology-related issues as well as on IP and data protection aspects of new disruptive technologies.

Members of our Danish data protection team, Amalie Langebæk, Nis Peter Dall and Jesper Langemark, have written a book about the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which was finally passed in April this year after 4 years of great political and press attention.

Until the GDPR comes into effect, in May 2018, there is a massive workload on both private companies and public authorities to ensure that their processing of personal data complies with the new rules. This new book aims to assist and guide companies and public authorities with their compliance work. The book is drafted as a guide and focuses on the changes introduced by the GDPR. It includes check lists, diagrams other practical tools. It also includes special guidance on the processing of personal data in connection with business transfers, outsourcing, marketing, employment, and new technologies such as cloud computing, internet of things, big data and drones.

The book was published last week and is the only Danish book on this subject on the Danish market.
