Bird & Bird Corporate team advises We Are Experience on sale to Globant SA

The deal, which closed on 23 May 2016, is valued at USD 18.5 million and was recently announced on the NYSE.

WAE is a global design business, based in London and New York, where product design meets behavioural science. Argentinian based Globant is an IT and software development company operating in Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, the UK, Brazil and the US.

The deal was led from London and involved US and Spanish input as the sale was effected by Globant's Spanish group company.

Our cross-border team was led by Corporate partner Simon Fielder, with assistance from Andrew Collins (Associate), and Colin Kendon (Partner) advising on EMI tax issues. Marta Rogriguez (Associate) provided assistance from our Madrid office.
