International law firm Bird & Bird has advised Wellness brand Everystate Ltd on its seed funding round.
Everystate was founded by singer Ellie Goulding, Jonathan Relph and Gemma Feare. The brand focuses on creating functional wellness products that combine adaptogens, mushrooms, and natural ingredients to support daily mental and physical well-being. Its product range at launch includes matcha, cacao and coffee powder blends, offering a health-conscious alternative to traditional beverages.
The lead investor in the round was Era.vc, a venture capital firm that backs founders building transformative consumer brands across Australia, North America, and Europe, with a focus on modern consumer needs. Founded by experienced operators and investors, Era reinvests a significant portion of its returns into charitable causes and works closely with founders to build global, category-leading brands.
The Bird & Bird corporate team was led by partner James Baillieu, associate Anna Mikhalkovich, and trainee solicitor Adam Garrood. They were supported by James Pearson (partner, IP), Charles Hill (associate, Employment), and Frances Gosling (associate, Employment).
