Bird & Bird's team in Finland has advised Sponsor Capital on a transaction whereby a Fund managed by Sponsor has acquired the business assets pertaining to the building materials wholesale business of Vantaan Kiinnike ja Rak Oy (“Van-Ki”)
Van-Ki is a wholesale distributor serving professional builders, offering its customers a comprehensive range of construction tools and building materials. In the future, Van-Ki aims to expand its geographical reach and further develop its product offering. Due to the asset transfer, Sponsor Capital will be able, as a new owner, to support these growth objectives. The transaction was completed on 31 March 2022.
