About Me

Since joining Bird & Bird in 2012 I've advised on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters and have worked in-house for a client advising its HR Leadership Team on both strategic and day-to-day employment issues.

I'm an associate in our International HR Services Group, based in London. On a daily basis I advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters across the employment life-cycle, and have acted for clients operating across a number of sectors, including aviation, utilities, media and retail.

My experience includes advising and representing clients in both defending and issuing proceedings in the Employment Tribunal and generally I advise on a broad range of workplace disputes and employee relations. I'm regularly involved in drafting and negotiating settlement agreements for clients, as well as service agreements, reviewing and updating employment policies/handbooks and advising on the employment aspects of large cross-border corporate transactions, including TUPE issues on business transfers and outsourcings.

I have built specialist expertise in relation to prospective and current Employment Tribunal claims, including advising on large-scale litigation as well as individual cases. My recent casework includes claims relating to unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE and claims for incorrectly calculated holiday pay.

In addition to the above, I've spent 6 months on part-time secondment to an international utilities company where I advise on a wide variety of employment matters including complex harmonisation and TUPE issues, general disciplinary, grievance and redundancy exercises, as well as other ordinary day-to-day HR queries.

I joined the International HR Services Group upon qualification as a solicitor in March 2018, prior to which I worked for the team as a Paralegal from March 2012 where I managed high volume and complex Employment Tribunal claims.
