I am a partner in our Infrastructure, Projects and Procurement Group in London, advising clients at the intersection of government and business. I am recognised in the legal directories as a Leading Individual (Legal 500, 2025).
I specialise in procurement, international trade and public law. Much of my practice is in technology and communications, defence, rail, energy, and life sciences and healthcare.
I act for governments, statutory bodies and utilities on strategically important projects, and for suppliers, lenders and investors on securing and delivering government contracts, with transactional work spanning procurements, PPPs, outsourcing and technology projects, divestments, M&A and financial assistance.
I also advise on UK ESG regulation and policy, including ESOS and SECR.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I led the UK procurement and public law practice at a large international law firm for seven years, advising on many of the Government's most high-profile projects. These included advising the UK Government on the procurement of Covid-19 vaccine development and production contracts, and advising Sizewell C on the UK Government's equity investment.
Earlier in my career, I worked as a senior lawyer in the UK Government, advising ministers and senior officials on major projects and post-Brexit regulation and policy. That insight into how government and parliament operate underpins my approach to client support today.
