Anna Klingseisen

I am a lawyer in our corporate practice in Düsseldorf and advise national and international clients in M&A, private equity/venture capital transactions, general corporate and commercial law.

As part of our corporate team, I am advising on transaction related, general corporate as well as on commercial matters.

In corporate law my focus lies on topics of general housekeeping and on private equity/venture capital transactions. In addition, I advise my clients on the conclusion and management of their commercial contract portfolios in accordance with current laws. Listening to my clients and meeting their individual needs is particularly important to me.

During my studies in Münster I gained first experience on legal issues of national and international operating clients through an internship in a major law firm in Frankfurt. In parallel to my studies, I worked as a research assistant at an international law firm focusing on antitrust and public commercial law. After obtaining my first state examination in law, I moved to Maastricht, Netherlands, for a Master of Laws (LL.M.), focusing on corporate and commercial law in an international context.

During my legal clerkship I worked in the competition law practice group of a major international law firm in Düsseldorf and at a medium-sized law firm and notary public in Essen focused on corporate and commercial law. After being admitted to the German bar I joined Bird & Bird in 2024.
