International law firm Bird & Bird has advised Gamma Communications plc (Gamma) on the acquisition of the German Placetel Business, including all shares in BroadSoft Germany GmbH (in future Gamma Placetel GmbH) from its sole shareholder BroadSoft UK Holding Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Cisco.
BroadSoft Germany GmbH is a German provider of cloud communications and enables organisations to purchase Cisco collaboration solutions both digitally and through local partners.
This acquisition strengthens Gamma's presence in Germany and deepens the relationship which Gamma has with Cisco, as both companies work together to accelerate their growth in the region. The acquisition demonstrates Gamma's commitment to further expanding its presence in key European markets.
