Anthony Rosen

I am a legal director at Bird & Bird with a core focus on Technology & Communications. I enjoy supporting clients on the global challenges facing the digital and communications sector as well as other regulated industries building on my significant telecommunications regulatory and competition law experience.

I have expertise across the full spectrum of telecommunications, cybersecurity, regulatory, competition/FDI, compliance matters encountered by businesses operating in and around the digital, tech and media space. I have spent time in-house at one of the world's most prominent tech companies and bring expertise, insight and a highly commercial understanding of client requirements and deliver business focused advice.

Earlier in my career, I worked at a leading communications regulator which afforded me a valuable insight into the regulatory process as well as a solid foundation in UK and EU telco regulation. I am well placed to advise on compliance, market studies, FDI & Merger control, sector inquiries as well as the fast-changing regulatory landscape. I also have extensive regulatory litigation experience having worked on appeals before the Competition Appeal Tribunal as well as disputes.

I have a keen interest in the evolving international tech regulatory landscape as businesses innovate and seek to develop creative solutions to the regulatory challenges and opportunities. I enjoy the constant intellectual challenge this provides, advising clients on the application of current and future laws to emerging technologies and helping them to deliver their strategic priorities.
