I am an associate in our Danish Data Protection team where I advise on Data Protection law and e-privacy.

I advise clients on third-country transfers, data processing agreements, use of personal data in connection with employment and marketing and other personal data law issues.

In Bird & Bird, we advise both national and international companies as well as public authorities, and with my background as Legal Counsel and Data Protection Manager in the IT industry, I have an understanding of the legal and commercial challenges that clients may face. I have assisted clients with small and large compliance projects, and my experience from an international law firm headquartered in Germany where, in addition to personal data law, I also worked with corporate law, e-commerce and employment law, has contributed to a broad legal background.

As part of Bird & Bird's personal data team, I provide advice to our clients across borders. From training of employees, establishing appropriate procedures, policies and safeguards, to negotiating data processing agreements, audits and inspections, and handling security breaches, requests from data subjects and supervisory authorities.

My passion for data protection law arose when I worked for an international IT company in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, in 2015-16, when the focus on transfers of personal data to third countries began in earnest. Since then, I have followed the developments in data protection law with a keen interest.

Since 2020, I have been a certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and since 2022, I have been a certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
