I am an associate at our Dubai office, where I assist clients with commercial, technology, and data-related issues across the Middle East, with a primary focus on the UAE and Saudi Arabia

My work involves drafting and providing advice on a wide variety of agreements, including terms and conditions, agency and distribution contracts, sponsorship and partnership deals, technology licensing, procurement, outsourcing agreements, as well as compliance with marketing laws and regulations governing digital promotional content.

I have substantial experience in data protection, guiding clients through compliance audits, data mapping, intra-group data sharing, international data transfers, data subject rights, direct marketing, and cybersecurity requirements. I am also highly experienced in helping clients address the legal complexities that arise in the event of data breaches.

I have previously been named as a key data privacy lawyer in the Legal 500 and has co-authored a chapter of a global publication on electronic vehicle regulation.

• Provided counsel on distribution and licensing agreements related to the sale and retail of consumer goods throughout the GCC.
• Negotiated a high-profile, exclusive sponsorship agreement for a global food and beverage producer, facilitating their product supply to one of the largest music and cultural festivals in the Middle East.
• Managed the ongoing commercial needs of an NYSE-listed consumer brand, advising on distribution, supply chain management, product introductions, and adherence to regional regulatory standards.
• Led data protection compliance initiatives for multiple clients across the GCC, guiding them through new regional regulations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. These projects included data mapping, contract and policy updates, managing intra-group data transfers, and offering strategic risk assessments and recommendations.
