Working as a counsel in our Employment Group in Milan, I help our Italian and international clients with a broad range of employment issues, particularly non-contentious, by offering highly responsive and business oriented advice to corporates and top-level managers.
I advise domestic and international clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, providing assistance from the beginning of the employment relationship (hiring matters, draft of policies, handbook, procedures, disciplinary and performance issues, etc.) to dismissals and post-termination arrangements, both in the context of major deals (such as mergers and acquisitions, transfer of undertakings, etc.) and on a stand-alone basis.
I assist clients on a daily basis with all their contractual documentation, both for employees and independent contractors, from identifying the best contractual arrangement and the relevant risks to the negotiation and drafting the relevant contractual terms and conditions. My focus is primarily on top managers' employment contracts, restrictive covenants (such as non-competition covenants, non-solicitations, confidentiality agreements); retention agreements, remuneration structures and golden parachutes. I also advise clients on their relationships with internal works councils and unions, both during collective redundancy procedures and in the framework of business transfers and restructurings.
My clients include both domestic and foreign-based multinational organisations engaged in diverse sectors such as metal and automotive, consumer products, fashion, medical products and devices, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, IT, consulting services, chemicals and logistics.
