I work as a counsel in the intellectual property team based in our Düsseldorf office, where I advise our German and multinational clients from various industries and sectors on all matters of patent law and utility model law, with a special focus on patent litigation.
As a member of our international IP Practice Group, I support clients in patent law and utility model law, in particular with regard to patent infringement proceedings and patent nullity proceedings. I also focus on the IP-related drafting of contracts. In these areas I advise national and international clients from various industries and represent clients in all manner of proceedings.
After completing my university studies with the first state exam, I worked as a research assistant at the renowned Institute for Information, Telecommunications and Media Law (Civil Law Department, Prof. Dr. Thomas Hoeren) at the University of Münster. My dissertation deals with the details of inspection proceedings in patent infringement proceedings before German courts.
As a legal trainee, I already worked in our patent team in Düsseldorf. I have also trained with the Federal Patent Court in Munich, the German Embassy in Oslo (Norway), the Regional Court Münster (commercial court; Germany) and at the Münster public prosecutor's office (commercial department; Germany).
