My practice revolves around trade mark, unfair competition and design law, as well as around copyright and cyber law. I personally focus on contentious matters, in particular on all manner of litigation and anti-piracy matters.
In my practice I focus on contentious work and litigation and advising clients on strategic issues. This comprises in particular the enforcement of trade mark and design rights as well as the protection of trade dress and the fighting of lookalikes and counterfeits. All sorts of unfair competition matters are another important pillar of my practice. I particularly like complex litigation matters, also at an international level.
I work for renowned national and international companies and brand owners, and have been working with most of them for many years. The basis of my work with my clients is the mutual trust and desire to make the best decisions in any given situation to achieve the best for the client. I see myself as the client's partner who helps them in complex situations to achieve the best possible results in the most efficient manner, both legally and commercially.
I have authored many publications on trade mark and on unfair competition law as well as on procedural issues, which have been published in the leading German and international legal IP journals.
I am a member of the German IP Society (GRUR), of the International Trade Mark Association (INTA) and of several other IP-related associations. I am also a member of the International Trade Mark Associations' (INTA) Unfair Competition Committee.
