About Me

As a senior associate in our Real Estate Group, I specialise in asset management and the disposal and acquisition of commercial property.

I've worked on significant transactions in London, on both landlord and tenant side, involving large portfolios of assets in both retail and hotel sector, working with our clients to bring new and exciting restaurants to UK as well as helping our clients to take new office spaces and manage these new assets. I really enjoy working with our clients on these projects and watching their vision come to life after the legal process is completed - I tend to become ridiculously loyal to any restaurant or venue where I have advised on the new lease.

I have experience of rolling-out leases for a private mobile network in the south east of England as well as the acquisition, refinance and disposal of a variety of UK solar energy farms. I also work with a number of banks, including those with Sharia Law requirements, when they finance developments and refinance extensive property portfolios as well as supporting our commercial sector by undertaking due diligence on corporate and commercial acquisitions.

Having a varied caseload means every day is different for me and office life is certainly never boring. Having a variety of clients that have different goals and targets means that I always strive to assess at the outset what an individual client is looking to achieve and to deliver our services in a way that is both efficient and commercially astute.
Experience
  • Elcograf SpA: advising an Italian printing group on an acquisition of a UK company which owned one of the largest printing factories in England. Work included lease negotiation and title due diligence.
  • Din Tai Fung: advising the world famous dumpling restaurant chain, Din Tai Fung, in relation to the leases of their first two restaurants in London – one at the new Centrepoint development and the other on Henrietta Street in Covent Garden. The restaurant's opening has been described as 'feverishly anticipated' as it brings its iconic xiaolongbao to London. These were both high profile and high value lettings. We dealt with the negotiation of both leases and all ancillary documentation.
  • VQ Limited: advising VQ Limited to help bring their innovative dining concept to hotels in London, having opened two new sites in the last year alone.
  • Hyatt Regency Tirana: advising one of Albania's leading families on entering into an agreement with market-leader Hyatt to bring the luxury hotel concept to Albania for the first time with the signing ceremony being attended by the Albanian Prime Minister.
  • Fibre cable installation: an ongoing project for a client which provides data and communication services to customers. Our role is to negotiate the documentation between our client, the landlord and the customer to allow our client to install cables and infrastructure in buildings. The project is high volume and requires in depth understanding of the new Electronic Communications Code as well as high levels of organisation.
