I am an Associate in the EU & Competition and International Projects and Procurement groups. I work with a strong commitment to achieve pragmatic and measurable commercial solutions for our clients.
As a member of the EU & Competition and International Projects and Procurement Groups, I handle a wide range of both national and international tender and competition law cases. I have international experience, having worked from our Brussels office throughout 2022.
My approach to client dialogue is proactive, positive, and transparent. Effective project management and control are crucial to our advisory services. The value of a well-planned, optimized, and realistic tendering process cannot be overstated, as it ensures full compliance with procurement rules. Aligned with Bird & Bird's tech focus, I specialize in IT law and have assisted several complex IT solution acquisitions. Since 2022, I have been a certified IT lawyer through Danish IT Attorneys and am part of our Tech & Comms sector group. I also advise on the Investment Screening Act, assisting with notification obligations and obtaining necessary permissions under Danish regulations.
I advise Danish and international contracting authorities on all phases of the tender process, including market dialogue, tender material preparation, contracts, pre-qualification implementation, negotiations, offer evaluation, and change access assessment. I also support tenderers in submitting offers, helping global companies secure complex framework agreements and local Danish niche companies obtain essential contracts.
Additionally, I advise on matters in the intersection of public procurement law and competition law, ensuring optimal tender structures for associations and company groups. In competition cases, I provide advice on abuse of dominance, anti-competitive agreements, mergers, compliance programs, dawn-raids and investigations, as well as the establishment of trade associations, selective distribution systems, and franchise programs.
Through my practice, I have gained extensive litigation experience in handling complaints, enforcement, and disputes before various bodies, including the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement, arbitration courts, IT dispute resolution bodies, national competition authorities, the EU Commission, the Danish courts and tender appeal bodies in Sweden, Belgium, and NATO.
