Ioana Hategan

I am a senior associate in our Munich office and advise clients on intellectual property matters relating to patents and utility models. My focus lies on patent infringement proceedings before German courts and the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

As a member of our international Intellectual Property Group, I advise and represent our clients in the field of mechanics, medical devices and electronics.

I completed my legal studies specialising in Private International Law at the University of Heidelberg. Before joining Bird & Bird in 2022, I practiced general litigation at an international law firm in Frankfurt.
