Jasper O'Donnell

I am an associate in the Tech Transactions team in Sydney.

I advise clients across a broad spectrum of matters in the tech sector, including commercial contracting, IP commercialisation, consumer and data privacy law, telecommunications law and technology procurement. I also have experience advising high-growth businesses through the life cycle of the company, from capital raising through to corporate structuring and M&A.

I am particularly interested in emerging technologies, and the legal and commercial challenges and opportunities technology presents to our clients.
I strongly believe in providing practical and pragmatic legal advice that cuts through the noise and legal jargon.
 
Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I cut my teeth at one of New Zealand's leading law firms in the Corporate Group, specialising in Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT). There I advised a diverse range of clients, from growth companies and startups through to large NZX and ASX listed companies and government agencies.
