I am an associate based in Dublin with a particular focus on data protection and privacy, technology and life sciences and healthcare.
I have acted for clients in relation to preventative and reactive data management projects (including two of the largest cyber breaches reported in Ireland) which involved advising upon regulatory response requirements, statutory and contractual disclosure obligations, and customer notification strategy. I also advise regularly on privacy notices, policies and procedures, data processing and data sharing agreements, international transfer arrangements, retention requirements, data protection impact assessments, data subject rights and conducting compliance gap analysis projects.
I have broad experience in the technology sector advising both customers and suppliers on a range of commercial contracting in both B2B and B2C arrangements, including software licensing, hosted and cloud services, service agreements and SOWs, terms and conditions, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, research agreements, as well as transactional due diligence on data and technology aspects.
I have also worked for a wide variety of public and private sector life sciences and healthcare clients including pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations, national health and social care authorities and regulatory bodies, hospitals and social care agencies on transactional and commercial matters including clinical trial, clinical device and collaboration agreements, IP and data management, and consultancy, service and supply arrangements.
