Martin Taimr

I am a junior associate at the Bird & Bird's office in Prague, member of the Intellectual Property and Tech & Comms groups.

My passion for innovative thinking and creativity drew my attention to intellectual property law – all aspects concerning patents, copyright and trademarks, with a particular focus on matters related to new technology solutions and their implementation. I also support clients advising on employment and competition law issues.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked for a recognised Czech copyright law boutique firm and spent part of my studies in Berlin specialising in IP law.

As Bird & Bird are a household name for IP and tech driven legal work, having been offered to work here as a junior associate gave me the perfect opportunity to develop my passion. An innovative approach to problem solving and an ethical firm culture is what I value the most at working here.

I speak Czech, English, German and Dutch.
