Teniola Ayeni

I am an associate based in Dublin, working across our Data Protection and Privacy, Intellectual Property and Technology teams focusing and providing advice on several matters.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I trained at a leading Irish corporate law firm. Before training to become a solicitor, I worked as part of an in-house legal and regulatory team. Whilst at this organisation I advised on marketing obligations, data subject rights, data transfers, IP matters and provided training to departments on data protection obligations. Due to this experience, I fully understand clients' needs and provide advice which considers both legal obligations and commercial objectives.

Before joining this organisation, I was a consultant at an Irish data strategy, data governance and data protection consultancy firm. During this time, I advised, trained, and supported a broad variety of clients ranging from public to private sector organisations. Additionally, I assisted organisations with the implementation of the GDPR by creating GDPR compliance programmes and providing advice on the privacy implications of new projects and technologies.

I enjoy engaging with clients and I am interested in providing tailored advice which adequately addresses their needs.
