I am an experienced communications and data protection lawyer focusing on the communications sector.

Over the years, I have developed extensive experience advising our clients in all areas of communications law including network deployment, radio spectrum administration, numbering, data privacy, public safety obligations, network access, and corporate and commercial transactions.

I also advise clients on compliance issues and represent them before the regulatory authorities and at the courts.

In addition, I have experience handling administrative law questions arising during M&A transactions and restructurings.

I have written articles and commentaries on communications and data protection law. In particular, I wrote the chapters on radio spectrum regulation and numbering in the compendium on Telecommunications law ("Handbuch Telekommunikationsrecht", 2nd ed. 2007) edited by Sven-Erik Heun. I also provided commentary on the German Telecommunications Act's provisions on communications secrecy and data privacy (Sec. 88 to 115 TKG in Kai-Uwe Plath (ed.): "DSGVO/BDSG", 3d edition 2018) as well as articles on spectrum administration, rate regulation, data protection and merger control in the media sector.
