Report of Trade Mark Cases For the CIPA Journal March 2025

Our report includes the following IPEC decisions: i) Laura Thurgood v Danielle Laight & Wash Wiggle & Wag Ltd, where a claim of passing off in relation to a dog grooming business was successful, and ii) Babek v Iceland where the Judge held that Babek’s mark was validity registered, meeting the statutory requirements of clarity and precision.
