Bird & Bird will offer free legal advice to the winner and runners-up of the competition as part of its support of the initiative, helping newcomers to the industry develop their ideas.

Anders Nilsson, Managing Partner of Bird & Bird in the UAE commented: “We’re excited to be part of this initiative which supports innovation and technology within the aviation industry - one of our key sectors in the region. The awards are a global forum for entrepreneurs, manufacturers and investors in the unmanned aerial vehicles industry, and we feel very much at home in this innovative environment.
