Our Warsaw office's Commercial partner Tomasz Zalewski has been ranked among the list of the Top 50 Most Influential Lawyers in Poland by the daily legal newspaper Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
The ranking presents some of the most excellent lawyers who have a reputation of being "eager to often do spectacular work for a good cause" and who are considered to "fulfil their duties for the benefit of many and the common good".
As mentioned by the newspaper:
Not many lawyers think about automating their work, using algorithms or even AI. Thanks to Tomasz Zalewski and his LegalTech Polska Foundation, that is beginning to change. The events organised by the Foundation are becoming increasingly popular and more lawyers begin to notice the capability for using modern technology in their work. One of the LegalTech Polska Foundation's successes is their contest on the best and most innovative legal chatbot. Among 13 submissions, there were projects such as automated assistance for people who have taken out a loan in Swiss francs, and a tool that calculates court fees. This shows that the way legal services are provided can evolve. If somewhere in the future we will meet with a virtual lawyer, it will definitely be due to Tomasz Zalewski's contribution.
Tomasz Zalewski has over 20 years of legal experience and a pragmatic business-focused approach. He advises clients in projects related to, inter alia, digital business transformation. He has advised on numerous large scale IT projects, involving comprehensive implementation of complex software in both traditional and SaaS models. Tomasz is the founder of the LegalTech Polska Foundation. He is recognised by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal as a leading individual in TMT, IP and Public Procurement.
