“Absolutely brilliant firm” Bird & Bird remains at the very top of the tree in the latest WTR 1000 trade mark rankings

For the 11th year running, Bird & Bird has been recognised as one of the world's top firms in World Trademark Review's (WTR) guide to international trade mark practice, the WTR 1000.

We are ranked in 20 countries, across Europe and Asia-Pacific, while 55 of our practitioners are highlighted for their exceptional trade mark expertise. We also feature in the directory's list of leading international firms, reflecting our very strong presence on the global stage.

The guide also highlights our respected position in the market and international coverage in the market, stating: The far-sighted practitioners at Bird & Bird leave no stone unturned to protect clients’ marks:

The team is well known for its 360-degree approach to brand protection and executes across each phase of the trade mark lifecycle to the most exacting standards, with reference to this in the guide, stating: “They look at every possible angle, from company structure to the mark’s potential uses, and even as far as to commercialisation. It’s not easy finding lawyers who can sync everything together this well and provide such great advice.”

Rankings are based on more than 1,300 interviews with lawyers, attorneys and clients, across 80 key jurisdictions, involved with trade marks conducted by WTR’s research team.

The guide is a popular tool for brand owners to use in considering their choice of external counsel and for law firms entering markets where they do not have trade mark practitioners on the ground.
