Bird & Bird has recently advised Kreos Capital on its participation in HungryPanda’s $130m+ Series D equity and debt funding round. Hungry Panda is the global leader in authentic Chinese deliveries globally.

Headquartered in London, HungryPanda is now present in over 60 cities within 10 countries including the UK, the US, Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and South Korea. HungryPanda focuses on food delivery for Asian restaurants and Chinese populations overseas, and the company has recently expanded its product offering to include Asian groceries, increasing its services under the Panda Fresh brand.
With the new funding, HungryPanda will invest in growing its market share within the Asian food delivery sector to solidify its position as a market leader, while also exploring new opportunities, expanding its international offering and pursuing strategic acquisitions.
The firm’s ongoing relationship with Kreos Capital is part of Bird & Bird’s strategic focus in the Venture Capital space, supporting and advising the investors in and lenders to fast-growing companies.
