International law firm Bird & Bird advised Hoivatilat Oyj in the purchase of a Finnish child day-care centre portfolio from Suomen Yhteiskuntakiinteistöt Oy.
The portfolio being purchased includes 2 child day-care centres with a capacity for approx. 250 children. The centres are operated by the City of Rovaniemi and the City of Oulu with long-term lease agreements.
The transaction value was approximately EUR 8.5 million.
Hoivatilat Oyj, founded in 2008, is part of the Aedifica group and specializes in producing, developing, owning and leasing out day care centre and nursing home premises, service communities and also schools. Aedifica, incorporated in 2005, is a regulated real estate company under Belgian law and it is listed on Euronext Brussels and Euronext Amsterdam.
