Bird & Bird advise Emerge Education on its participation in Mendo's fundraising round

International law firm Bird & Bird has advised Emerge Education, a UK fund specialising in pre-seed and seed investments in edtechs, on its participation in the €3.5 million financing round of Mendo, a French start-up developing a SaaS solution for training companies in software and generative AI tools.

Led by Emerge Education, the round of financing also included the support of its historic investor Tomcat Ventures, as well as angel investors. As a result of this second round of financing, the start-up hopes to double the number of employees trained - currently more than 15,000 - by the end of 2025, and to recruit around 20 people to support more companies.

The Bird & Bird team advising on the deal comprised of Corporate partner Félicien Bardsley and associate Yvan Vérité (both France).
