International law firm Bird & Bird has successfully advised Meliva Sverige, part of Mehiläinen Group, in its strategic acquisition of Cevitagruppen and DBI Vård & Hälsa AB.

The acquisition marks a significant step for Meliva and creates a strong platform for the firm’s specialist care offering, complementing the current primary care network of 18 health centres in Region Stockholm and Västra Götaland.

The acquisition of Cevitagruppen and DBI is subject to approval from the relevant authorities and regions and is expected to be completed in the Autumn of 2024.
