International law firm Bird & Bird hires IP and regulatory expert Mette-Marie Buch Henrichsen as a new partner in its Life Sciences & Healthcare team.
Mette-Marie is a regulatory and compliance specialist advising Danish and EU clients across the full life science lifecycle on matters relating to medicinal products, medical devices, cosmetics, and food and dietary supplements. Her experience covers issues relating to clinical trials, sale and marketing, prices, reimbursement, substitution and the relationship between healthcare professionals and pharma & medico companies. Mette-Marie also has significant experience with issues relating to off-label recommendations, parallel import of medicinal products and medical devices, as well as with advising clients on various digital health and AI projects.
She also advises on the enforcement of patents, trademark rights and copyright as well as general marketing law, including injunction and preservation of evidence cases.
Her deep understanding of the life sciences sector enables her practice to span advisory work, contracts, high-stake disputes, and M&A support in complex transactions.
