International law firm Bird & Bird advises Radiant, a French startup specializing in the decarbonization of large-scale industrial heat, on a €2 million fundraising round aimed at launching the commercialization of its solar concentration technology.
The fundraising was completed with Hexa's Carbone Zero acceleration program dedicated to climate startups, and business angels. With this new funding, Radiant, formerly Neamine, plans to develop a first demonstrator of its solar concentration technology for the production and storage of heat for industrial purposes by 2026, marking a key milestone towards the commercialization of their solution.
Founded in 2024 by two engineers, Radiant’s objective is to actively combat climate change through the development of innovative technologies. Their solution relies on the use of next-generation heliostats that concentrate solar radiation towards a receiver capable of reaching over 1,000°C, coupled with a thermal storage module ensuring continuous heat supply.
