Albert Mennen

I am a M&A and venture capital lawyer in our London office. I advise clients on a range of corporate transactions with a particular interest in early-stage equity financing, acting for companies, institutional investors, family offices and angel investors.

I enjoy advising companies, founders and investors through the full business and fundraising lifecycle, from incorporation through to successful exit.

My experience spans across many industry sectors, in particular life sciences and healthcare, retail and consumer, technology and communications and most notably emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector.

Prior to joining Bird and Bird, I was seconded to a publicly-listed consumer brand and also held an in-house position as legal counsel at a venture capital and family investment office. My time as an in-house lawyer offered me valuable insight into how legal services should be delivered to bring lasting value to clients.
