I am an associate in our Intellectual Property team in London, focusing on contentious matters.
I have experience across a broad range of intellectual property matters, including complex copyright and trade mark litigation, as well as brand protection projects and non-contentious advice. My practice encompasses various sectors including Media, Entertainment & Sport, Technology & Communications, and Retail & Consumer.
I am particularly interested in all things MES, and I spent part of my training contract on client secondment to a global esports brand. Prior to joining the firm, I worked in-house advising on trade mark and design rights protection matters for an online retailer. This extensive in-house experience has given me an insight into the operation of fast-paced and technology focused businesses, as well as an understanding of clients' concerns and priorities, which enables me to add real commercial value to my advice.
I am an editor of MediaWrites, the firm's MES news hub, and I contribute to the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) Journal.
Being a champion for racial diversity and equality in the workplace (and everywhere), I am a part of EMBRACE, Bird & Bird's multicultural network.
