Angelo Fiorello

I am a lawyer at the Corporate department of the Milan office. I mainly deal with Mergers & Acquisitions in the areas of Private Equity, both financial and industrial, and Venture Capital.

I joined Bird & Bird in November 2023, same year I have been admitted to the Milan Bar.

Previously, since 2021, I worked for the Milan office of a leading international law firm of Sino-Australian origin, gaining experience in the fields of corporate and commercial law.

From the operational standpoint, I support clients during all the typical phases (e.g., due diligence, negotiations, exits) of PE transactions, with particular focus on the following sectors: Lifesciences & Healthcare, Retail and Consumer, and Technology and Communications. I provide legal assistance, both to Italian and European clients, on issues related to corporate governance, acquisition finance, as well as commercial and operational aspects of the respective businesses.

All the above taking as my guiding light the client's needs and interests, to which I respond with a careful and versatile approach.

From an academic standpoint, in 2020 I completed the Integrated Master of Arts in Law at Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi defending a thesis entitled 'The governance in the one-tier system of administration and control'. Afterwards, in 2021, I completed the master's degree in Corporate Governance at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan) defending a final paper entitled 'The synallagmatic equilibrium in Sale and Purchase Agreements: from Representations and Warranties to price adjustment'.
