I am a partner in our International HR Services Group in France and advise my clients on all individual and collective issues that they encounter with their employees. Since 2013, I have held the position of co-managing partner of the French offices of Bird & Bird.
My main areas of work are on the management of employment relations, from hiring through to termination, as well as relationships with staff representatives and trade unions, and the negotiation of collective agreements. I am also particularly involved in questions and thinking around new forms of employment that are developing in the context of the digital economy.
I have built up significant experience in the employment aspects of M&A and outsourcing transactions both in France and in a cross-border context, as well as business restructuring projects involving social plans.
I regularly defend my clients before the French employment tribunals and Courts of Appeal on litigation related to unfair dismissal claims, particularly further to collective redundancies, as well as discrimination and harassment claims.
I regularly participate in discussions around the transformation of business and the evolution of work relationships between individuals and businesses. I am also interested in the impact of evolutions in employment law in relation to the development of artificial intelligence in business.
I assist a number of clients on sophisticated employment litigation, for example litigation post-restructuring or social plans, and harassment claims resulting in risks of reinstatement.
