Carissa Najafian

I am an associate in our International Corporate Group in London. I advise on a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and reorganisations.

I work with a diverse range of clients at different stages of the corporate life cycle and across a variety of sectors. I particularly enjoy working with clients in the Life Sciences & Healthcare, Retail & Consumer and Technology & Communications industries.

I trained at a leading Scottish headquartered law firm and was admitted as a solicitor and notary public in Scotland in August 2025, before joining Bird & Bird as an associate. During my traineeship, I gained experience in Banking & Finance, Restructuring, Property, Corporate and Litigation. I studied at the University of Western Australia during my year abroad and completed an LLM in European and International Business Law at the University of Vienna. I therefore love working with clients across multiple jurisdictions.
