Conor Matthews

I am a Senior Associate in the Real Estate team of our Sydney office, with over 15 years' experience advising domestic and international clients on real estate transactions in Australia and Ireland.

I have broad experience across all real estate sectors (office, industrial, hospitality and retail) and renewable energy transactions. I have acted on a wide range of transactions, including portfolio and single-asset acquisitions & disposals, sale and leasebacks, commercial leasing, development agreements, financing and asset management.

I regularly collaborate with colleagues to advise on the property aspects of a variety of cross-border and domestic deals such as corporate M&A, finance transactions and renewable energy projects.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked for leading law firms in Ireland and Australia. I am admitted to practice in Australia, England and Ireland.
