I am an associate in the Bird & Bird's Commercial and Privacy & Data Protection department in the Madrid office.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in an international law firm and advised several national and international clients on matters related to Spanish audiovisual and advertising regulatory law, as well as on audiovisual production matters. In this regard, I acquired extensive experience in rough cut and script clearance, analysis of synchronization and master licenses, chain of title analysis and option agreements, as well as in the drafting and review of development, pre-production and production services agreements, together with cast, crew, writers and directors contracts. As a consequence, in Bird & Bird I also work with the Media, Entertainment and Sports group.

As my interests went beyond audiovisual law and I had a strong desire to also specialize in privacy and data protection, I pursued an LL.M. in New Technologies to gain more experience and provide assistance to clients on a wider variety of GDPR compliance matters, as well as consumer protection, e-commerce, FinTech, blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

I truly believe that digitization is requiring lawyers in our area to assist in matters that touch on different areas, which is why I believe that my background in Media and Entertainment as well as Privacy and Data Protection will provide me with greater insight and understanding of our clients' interests and put them first when assisting them with their requests.
