As an associate in the Milan office of Bird & Bird, I focus on intellectual property, advertising, unfair competition and consumer protection law.

On a daily basis, I assist the main Italian Consortia in judicial and extrajudicial matters related to the protection and enhancement of the Protected Designations of Origin and Protected Geographical Indications they are in charge of. It is an activity that I carry out with great pride because I see it as a small part of the broader protection of Italian excellence around the world.

I also provide assistance to various Italian and international advertising agencies and companies in the field of advertising. I regularly give advice on influencer marketing and advertising campaigns providing opinions on their compliance with local rules. I advise on promotional sales, loyalty programs, prize operations and prize contest as well as on any other promotional activity they want to carry out. I have also assisted clients in proceedings before the Italian Advertising Standards Authority and other competent authorities.

Moreover, I deal with unfair competition and consumer protection law, providing assistance in contentious and mainly non-contentious issues. For instance, I have been involved in a number of proceedings before the competent authorities, in providing opinions, especially on e-commerce, and in drafting terms and conditions of sale and terms of use of websites. I have also gained experience in connection to regulatory issues, especially in the food and fashion sectors.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in a firm specialised in intellectual property.
