I am a senior counsel in the Bird & Bird dispute resolution. My expertise covers, in particular, the handling of complex expert evidence in technology litigation and arbitration. I also specialise in cases involving white-collar crime issues.

My expertise covers, in particular, the handling of complex expert evidence in technology disputes, including numerous matters related to solar energy, electrical engineering, and the transition to renewable energies. In particular, I have extensive experience with disputes concerning inverters, lithium battery management systems, and solar panels.

My expertise also covers disputes involving company valuations, complex statistical problems and problems of financial mathematics, for example, a multimillion EUR dispute about depreciation calculations of an energy supplier.

I am also an associate professor of criminal law at the University of Bonn and have extensive experience representing companies that have become victims of white-collar crime.

• Advising Canadian, German and Swiss manufacturers of inverters and lithium battery management systems in many multimillion euro lawsuits, among them a multimillion euro lawsuit against an energy management company entrusted with the transition of a whole island in the Atlantic to renewable energies
• Advising a Chinese investor in several lawsuits regarding claims in relation to investments in Italian and German solar parks (amounts in dispute between EUR 20 million and EUR 77 million)
• Advising major German car manufacturers and their suppliers in many lawsuits and arbitration cases with amounts in dispute of tens of millions of euros, in one case with an amount in dispute of EUR 2 billion
• Advising a major German manufacturer of printing presses in many lawsuits with amounts in dispute up to EUR 27 million, involving complicated issues of expert evidence
• Advising a British litigation insurance company in several a multimillion euro arbitration cases, among them arbitral proceedings concerning damages for the sale of a defective satellite to a major British broadcasting company
