Gabriella Katz

I work in Bird & Bird's Commercial group, advising both national and international clients primarily on various aspects of commercial contract law. I have a particular focus on technology and IT-related agreements, including areas such as software licensing, IT services, cloud service agreements, data protection, and technology partnerships. I help businesses navigate risks and ensure compliance in the digital landscape, including managing complex regulatory frameworks such as privacy regulations, cybersecurity regulations, and AI standards. In addition, I advise on intellectual property matters, as well as consumer- and marketing law.

Before joining Bird & Bird I spent several years at a leading Swedish law firm, where I gained experience through handling complex commercial agreements often involving international elements and cross-border considerations, navigating both legal and technical complexities to ensure optimal outcomes. I also served as an in-house counsel at one of Sweden's largest game development companies where I handled the company's SaaS-, licensing- and consultancy agreements, as well as privacy matters, further refining my ability to navigate data protection regulations and complex compliance challenges.
