Isaac Qureshi

I am an associate in Bird & Bird's London office, specialising in employee incentives and the tax and legal issues that surround them.

I support clients with the design, implementation and operation of incentive arrangements, and regularly advise on the incentives aspects of corporate transactions – from early-stage funding rounds through to cross-border M&A.

Much of my work is with VC-backed businesses, particularly in the technology sector, where I help founders and management teams navigate HMRC tax-advantaged share schemes (such as EMI), growth shares and other bespoke incentive structures.

I trained at an international law firm, qualifying into its tax team in 2020, before moving to a top-ranked media-focused law firm where I advised on incentives and corporate tax.
