I am a brand protection and regulatory lawyer focused on advising clients in the retail and consumer and health and life sciences industries.
I have experience assisting clients in all aspects of their trade mark portfolio management and brand protection strategy including trade mark prosecution and enforcement, licensing, design registration and advising on issues pertaining to copyright.
My practice also extends to advising clients on their compliance with the Australian Consumer Law in areas including advertising claims and copy approval, product warranties and guarantees, product safety and product recall strategy.
I also advise clients operating within the health and life sciences industry on regulatory issues regarding their pharmaceutical products and medical devices including ARTG registration, PBS listing and advertising of therapeutic goods.
Having started my career in-house at a FTSE 100 pharmaceutical company and subsequently undertaken two secondments in-house, I am interested in understanding the commercial risks and opportunities faced by my clients in ever evolving legal, regulatory and technical landscapes and approach the provision of legal advice with a lens of commerciality. In particular, I am interested in innovations surrounding the development, adoption and regulation of digital health products.
