Kenneth Chiu

I am an associate in our Corporate Group based in Hong Kong with a broad range of practice in corporate finance and commercial matters.

I advise clients on corporate finance and share transactions, including public and private M&As, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, initial public offerings, banking and finance, and other fund-raising exercises, such as rights issues and private placements. I also advise Hong Kong-listed companies on regulatory investigations, corporate governance, and compliance issues related to Hong Kong Listing Rules and Takeovers Code.

Before reading laws, I was a full-time professional athlete in the Hong Kong Table Tennis Team and have participated in various international table tennis tournaments, including the Youth Olympics. My sporting background has shaped my understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the sports industry, allowing me to deliver informed advice to sports associations in sports governance, regulatory and commercial matters.

I am fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
