I've practiced law since 1990, having graduated from the University of Milan. I'm the founding partner of Bird & Bird Italy and I'm passionate about protecting the values of our firm.
My advice informs our clients on domestic and pan-European Intellectual Property litigation around patents, trademarks, copyright, advertising and unfair competition in life sciences, media, IT, internet, telecoms, food, fashion and luxury goods.
As well as managing trademark portfolios, I also advise on non-contentious IP/IT/TMT and regulatory issues such as licensing, R&D, MTA, clinical trials, software agreements and IT, maintenance, outsourcing, disruptive technologies, pre-clearance advertising and data protection.
I lecture at San Raffaele University and continue to publish in the areas of licensing, product liability, copyright, technology transfer and inventors awards.
I served as Chair of the firm from 2016 until 2020. You'll find me in the IP and Life Sciences sections of a number of the key international directories. I'm often invited to speak at conferences covering sectors and issues as diverse as biotech, incubators, cloud computing and crowdsourcing.
